Election Dance Fever Fatigue

I care. I actually care a lot
about some of the issues in the current federal election
but, for some reason, whenever any politician speaks
I want to head in the opposite direction.

I'm normally quite interested in politics but this election,
the parties and the leaders are so incredibly boring -- they all say
just what you would expect them to say. Unless they can come up with something new
they're going to have to work in a Napoleon Dynamite style
dance routine
to get my attention.

But even a shimmying Stephen Harper may not be enough to help me
forget the debacle that was the last parliamentary year...
I can't say I have much affection for any of them.

I wish I felt there was some choice, someone I wanted to vote for,
sadly it's going to be a case of picking the best of a bad lot.

You dance, Napoleon. You dance and dance and dance and dance!

Vote Pedro.

Watching the elections across the river in Detroit...I can say...why does the stuff the candidates say sound familiar? Oh, yeah.

Because the American government is as just screwed up as yours.

Probably more.

Politics are problematic
the world over -- it may be that
understanding that finally unites the planet.

I don't need...

last names to know who Debbie and Toni-Marie are and I can find my way from Happy Adventure to Misery Point in the fog. My morning comes a half hour earlier and any day without 'RDF' is good. I've seen a mummer, tasted toutons and the image conjured by the word Dildo might be different for me than you because I'm a product of this place.
